March 18, 2010 100th Anniversary Red Tie Event The Grandview, Poughkeepsie Come help the Dutchess County Chapter celebrate 100 years of service to the community. This is the culmination event of a year of 100th events. The Seven Fundamental Principle Awards, based on the guiding principles of the American Red Cross will be presented to recipients from the county. American Red Cross Seven Fundamental Principles

A photo exhibit of 110 historical Red Cross photos taken by a Red Cross photographer will be displayed at the 100th Anniversary Red Tie Event. This exhibit will be sponsored by Safeguard.

Chill Wine & Tapas Chill, located at 173 Main Street, Beacon is a premier wine & tapas bar. They will hold an event to benefit the American Red Cross of Dutchess County starting at 5:30 pm. There will be food, door prizes and a silent auction. The cost is $25 per person at the door which includes food. Cash bar will be available. December 13, 2009 Umberto’s of Mamma Marisa Come join us at Umberto’s of Mamma Marisa 2245 South Rd., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 from 11am-3pm. With every purchase of $10.00 photo with Santa, the American Red Cross of Dutchess County will receive a donation.
December 2, 2009: Chapter Open House 3pm-6pm 103 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 Come take a tour of the Dutchess County Chapter House. Learn about the services and the volunteer opportunities the chapter has to offer. Light refreshments will be served. October 31, 2009 Youth Council Safe Halloween Thanks to the American Red Cross Youth Council and volunteer Chris Casey for putting together Halloween Saftey Bags for the safe trick-or-treat at the Galleria Mall. Youth volunteers handed out 100 bags with kid-friendly safety information in just five minutes!
October 21, 2009 Family Fund Night: Congratulations to all the raffle prize winners, and thank you to everyone who came out to support the event. September 26, 2009 Fishkill Carwash held a fundraisier to benefit the American Red Cross of Dutchess County. This all day event that ran from 7 a.m-8 p.m. with 50% of all proceeds donated to help the local Chapter cause. Thanks to everyone who came out to show their support.

August 19, 2009 Red Cross Renegades Night & Blood Drive The night was a great success! Thank you to the Andy and the entire staff of Dutchess Stadium for their help.

Thank you to all the blood donors: 27 units of blood were collected and will be used to help save the lives of your neighbors right here in Dutchess County.

August 25-30, 2009 Dutchess County Fair Thank you to all who visited us at the Fair. This year the Chapter booth was located outside and this location was advantageous. Thanks to the generosity of the fairgoers the Chapter raised over $1000 dollars and passed out over 5000 safety items.
